Hard Chrome Rolls
Hard chromium plating is a chemical coating of hard chrome at a temperature of 55°C directly to the desired location. Hard chromium plating is recommended in areas where abrasive wear is present, mechanical wear, where it is needed corrosion protection and high smoothness. Products that are hard chromium plated pistons, piston rods, cylinders inside, rolls, various rails, bearings, various snails, tools for plastic and metal casting. The thickness of the hard chromium is dependent on the requirements or needs. From 5 microns to 1 millimeter (possibly more).
Maximal diameter: | 1200 mm |
Maximal length: | 6000 mm |
Maximal weight: | 10000 kg |
With hard chrome plating we achieve:
- High wear resistance
- Good corrosion protection
- High hardness up to 64 HRc – 1100 HV
- High-temperature stability
- Chemical-resistant surface
- Low coefficient of friction
- Good adhesion to the materials
Materials which can be chromed:
- All-steel
- Cast Iron
- Cast steel
- Inox
- Bronze
- Copper
- Brass
High Grip Runout table roll
The productivity will be found, but not limited to, in several areas such as:
- reduction of idle production hours due to less roll replacement,
- less roll purchasing costs,
- improved steel output capacity and improved steel surface quality,
- less maintenance labor costs,
- and many more…

- FPM (Fluorinated – hydrogen rubber)
- SBR (Styrole – butadiene – rubber)
- PU (Polyurethane)
Polyurethane
Rollers with polyurethane blanket have got a wide range of use. Especially for their great mechanical properties they find exercise in plants, where are high claims on roller cover resistance against mechanical damage (abrasive wear, slitting throught), or there is a claim on a very exact and superior agents application for surface finish (coating pickling substances).
You can find them for example in machine industry, wood working and furniture industry or in production covers. In these branches they are first and foremost filling lacquering function, live rollers function, top rollers function, pulling rollers function, guide or transport rollers function.
The evidence, that we are in a top post in development division, production and polyurethane coating, agrees fact, that we are coating so special polyurethans, which are example electrically conductive, or temperature resistant up to 150°C.
