Special Rolls
The company Kolding produces special rolls covered with rubber, polyurethane and other materials.Covers are manufactured for the following roll dimensions: lenght with journals 12000 mm, end diameter of 1300 mm and weight of 20 tons. More than one hundered different rubber and polyurethane materials of the following hardness are applied: from 25 ShA to 90 ShD and from 0 to 250 plastomeric units of P&J respectively.
Based on our experience and with modern equipment the folloving tolarances can be met:
Cover surface roughness: Ra=0,6 micron or better at the customer's request. Our regular range of services includes dynamic balancing of the rolls (based on VDI 2060, rpm from 40 to 3250/min).
Kolding can also produce all other special rolls according to the customer's request (chromium-plated rolls, tensometric rolls, furnace rolls, rolls for special lines).
