The begining of steel production in northern Slovenia dates back to the 17th Century. Over the years, the high grade specialty steel production has been upgraded with finalization of steels into end-products such as rolls, knives and equipment for metallurgical and other industries which are exported all over the world. Kolding d.o.o. founded in 1993 countinues this tradition.
Since its foundation the company Kolding has developed into a renowned producer of high quality rolls, wear&spare parts and other metallurgical equipment. Besides Metallurgy we are active also in other industries such as Energy, Mining and Engineering. The production is carried out in completely new production facilities under high degree of precision, following the highest production and environmental standards. With constant improvement, our products and staff are becoming better and our production range is expanding.

Our in-house quality control is equipped with advanced non-destructive testing capabilities, including Penetrant testing (EN 10228-2), Magnetic Particle Inspection (EN 10228-1), Ultrasonic Testing (EN 10228-3), as well as Hardness testing, roughness measurement, and 3D laser tracker technology. This ensures rigorous inspection and adherence to the highest quality standards in every phase of production.
